Where to Find Honey in a Grocery Store

Where can I find honey in the grocery store?

Most grocery stores keep honey in transparent jars. You will find them in the baking aisle. This aisle carries fresh bread, jellies, and jams. 

You can also find honey in the produce area. That’s where the fresh and natural food items are. For example, broccoli, tomatoes, cucumbers and more. Other aisles to check are the tea and BBQ section. 

Of course, aisle arrangements in different will vary as most grocery stores are guilty of changing their layouts frequently. So don’t be alarmed if you don’t recognize these aisles and sections immediately.

Is there fake honey?  

Fake honey exists, so you could be unfortunate enough to pick up a jar of fake honey at the grocery store. The circulation of honey crazy, at some point, until the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) created a guideline on how companies should make, label, and sell it. 

According to the FDA guideline, if more than a single ingredient is used to produce honey, the company must indicate that it was mixed using the term, “honey blend” or any other terms to indicate that it’s not 100% honey.  So always look at the label to ensure that the honey you’re buying is properly indicated or that it doesn’t contain additives.
