Kroger

Besides cash, debit cards and personal checks, Kroger accepts the use of PayPal to check out grocery goods from its stores. 

The retailer also supports other third-party payment systems such as Apple Pay and Samsung Pay, Amex, Visa, Mastercard or Discover card.

Kroger also offers its own payment system, Kroger Pay, to allow customers to pay for their items. Kroger Pay, like PayPal, is a contactless mobile payment system or app that generates a one-time use quick response code. This code then safely transmits your payment information to the check out system.

Walmart

Walmart is one of the few stores that accept PayPal directly as a payment method. You can shop both in-store and on the online platform.

Like Kroger, Walmart also has its own payment system known as Walmart Pay. Walmart acts as a digital wallet which you can control with the Walmart payment app.

Other accepted payment methods include Walmart gift cards, credit & debit cards, and Affirm financing.

How to link your PayPal account to Google Pay or Samsung Pay

Before you follow the procedures, ensure that your Samsung and Google Pay apps are updated to the latest versions. This will help you avoid issues that may prevent you from successfully linking your accounts.

Google Pay

• Access the Google Pay app on your smartphone.
• Navigate to the “Payment” tab.

• Type in the email address and phone number associated with your PayPal account into the spaces provided. Then tap “Allow“.
• Next, tap “Accept” to link your account successfully.

Samsung Pay
