Grocery stores that accept PayPal
Unfortunately, prominent stores like Costco, Albertsons, Sprouts, Whole Foods Market, and others, don’t directly accept in-store payment through PayPal.
The best way to bypass this setback is to link your PayPal account to Google Pay or Samsung Pay beforehand. This will not only allow you to shop in-store, but also purchase groceries from online grocery stores that accept PayPal.
However, Kroger and Walmart are one of the few grocery stores that accept PayPal directly.
Kroger
Besides cash, debit cards and personal checks, Kroger accepts the use of PayPal to check out grocery goods from its stores.
The retailer also supports other third-party payment systems such as Apple Pay and Samsung Pay, Amex, Visa, Mastercard or Discover card.
Kroger also offers its own payment system, Kroger Pay, to allow customers to pay for their items. Kroger Pay, like PayPal, is a contactless mobile payment system or app that generates a one-time use quick response code. This code then safely transmits your payment information to the check out system.
Walmart
Walmart is one of the few stores that accept PayPal directly as a payment method. You can shop both in-store and on the online platform.
Like Kroger, Walmart also has its own payment system known as Walmart Pay. Walmart acts as a digital wallet which you can control with the Walmart payment app.
Other accepted payment methods include Walmart gift cards, credit & debit cards, and Affirm financing.
H Mart

H Mart accepts PayPal payment both online and in-store, as well as credit cards in the forms of Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.
The Korean-American retail chain is headquartered in Lyndhurst, New Jersey, with other outlets spread out all over the United States and Canada.
